Ascension Impact Collaborative
A Community of Donors Investing in Real Impact
The Ascension Impact Collaborative brings together individuals who believe in the power of collective generosity.
By pooling resources and engaging thoughtfully in the funding process, members help support initiatives that strengthen communities, expand opportunity, and address real needs.
Ascension Impact serves as the steward of this process—identifying meaningful opportunities, ensuring responsible oversight, and guiding collaborative decision-making that leads to measurable impact.
Through shared generosity and thoughtful partnership, the Collaborative transforms individual contributions into powerful collective action.
Overview
The Ascension Impact Collaborative Fund is a pooled giving initiative where donors contribute financial support that is directed toward high-impact community programs and initiatives.
Rather than funding projects individually, members combine their contributions into a shared fund that supports initiatives aligned with Ascension Impact’s mission and four pillars of impact:
• Relief
• Growth
• Empowerment
• Outreach
This model allows members to participate in a thoughtful philanthropic process while increasing the scale and effectiveness of their giving.
Together, the Collaborative can support initiatives that no single donor could accomplish alone.
How the Collaborative Works
The Collaborative follows a structured process designed to ensure transparency, stewardship, and meaningful member engagement.
1. Members Contribute
Individuals join the Collaborative by contributing to the pooled impact fund. These contributions provide the resources used to support selected initiatives throughout the year.
2. Organizations Submit Proposals
Nonprofit organizations and community partners are invited to submit proposals for initiatives that align with Ascension Impact’s mission and focus areas.
3. Ascension Impact Reviews and Vets Proposals
The Ascension Impact team evaluates each submission to ensure mission alignment, organizational integrity, and the potential for measurable community impact.
4. Members Review Finalist Initiatives
Qualified proposals are presented to Collaborative members for discussion and review. Members have the opportunity to learn about each initiative and provide advisory input.
5. Board Approval and Grant Awards
The Ascension Impact Board of Directors reviews the recommendations and makes final funding decisions, ensuring responsible stewardship and alignment with the organization’s mission.
Why Collective Giving Matters
When donors come together around a shared purpose, impact grows.
The Collaborative model allows members to:
• Multiply the impact of their contributions
• Support innovative community initiatives
• Learn about emerging needs and solutions
• Participate in meaningful philanthropic decisions
Through collective generosity, the Ascension Impact Collaborative helps strengthen communities and support initiatives that create lasting change.
